The effect of e-Marketing Orientation on E-Strategic Business mediated by e-trust on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the culinary field in Bogor City during the pandemic Covid19
The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted various aspects of life, including the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the culinary sector of Bogor City. With government-imposed restrictions and appeals for people to stay at home, many MSMEs have experienced a decline in sales as they are unable to directly sell their products, leading to reduced profits. According to the Bogor City Cooperatives and MSMEs Office (2021), there has been a drastic decrease in the number of MSMEs operating in the culinary sector, dropping from 57,467 in 2020 to 13,288 in 2021. However, amidst these challenges, MSMEs also recognize an opportunity arising from the continuous demand for food, driven by people’s daily needs.
By empowering Bogor’s culinary MSMEs, we can ensure continued food production and access for the Bogor community. A thriving culinary sector translates to greater food security and a wider range of food options, especially for vulnerable populations. Supporting MSMEs through initiatives like skills development, access to financing, and e-commerce training fosters business growth and creates job opportunities within the culinary sector. This contributes to Bogor’s overall economic well-being
