The Effect of E-Service Quality Internet Banking Towards E-Satisfaction and E-Loyalty for Bank Customer in DKI Jakarta
The present era witnesses the phenomenon where the vast expanse of the internet has become a gateway to transcend the geographical boundaries of the world, allowing individuals from diverse corners of the globe to seamlessly connect and communicate. This interconnectedness is predominantly facilitated through the omnipresence of smartphones, serving as the primary medium for people to stay in touch with one another, conduct business transactions, and access a plethora of information. The surge in internet usage shows no signs of abating, as it continues to soar, even in the aftermath of the global disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, reflecting society’s increasing reliance on digital connectivity. Recent statistics from data boxes revealed that as of January 2022, the global count of internet users stood at a staggering 4.95 billion, marking a notable 4% rise from the previous figure of 4.76 billion, underscoring the exponential growth of online engagement. A parallel trend of substantial growth in internet adoption is also evident in Indonesia, with the country witnessing a surge in the number of internet users. According to findings from the survey conducted by the Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet (APJII), Indonesia recorded a remarkable 210.03 million internet users during the 2021-2022 timeframe, showcasing a remarkable uptick in digital connectivity within the nation.
Achieving universal internet access requires collaboration between governments, private sector entities, and civil society organizations. By working together to improve digital infrastructure, expand internet connectivity, and promote digital literacy, stakeholders. The growth of internet usage can stimulate economic activity and job creation, particularly in the digital economy. It provides opportunities for entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and digital services, thereby contributing to decent work and economic growth by creating employment opportunities and fostering innovation.
