<\/a><\/p>\nTraveling to India for the first time was a journey filled with excitement, curiosity, and a deep willingness to learn. I had long been fascinated by the country\u2019s rich cultural tapestry, its intellectual heritage, and its growing role in the global sustainability conversation. So, when I received an invitation from Dr. Somesh Kumar<\/strong> to deliver a keynote address at a prestigious IEEE IATMSI 2025 conference (6 \u2013 8 March 2025), I was honoured and eager to embrace this opportunity. With my flights and accommodation generously hosted by the organizers, I prepared for a meaningful and unforgettable international experience.<\/p>\n Before the conference date, I took two additional days to explore some of India\u2019s most iconic sites. I visited Jaipur<\/strong>, often called the Pink City, where the vibrant colours, historical forts, and traditional markets left a lasting impression. The architectural beauty of the City Palace<\/strong> and Hawa Mahal<\/strong> was breathtaking. I also journeyed to the Taj Mahal in Agra<\/strong>, a site I had dreamed of seeing for years. Standing before this magnificent monument of love was a humbling and unforgettable moment. These cultural excursions added depth and beauty to my first visit, offering insight into India\u2019s history, artistry, and soul.<\/p>\n Upon arrival in Gwalior city, I was met with an overwhelming sense of warmth and hospitality. From the train station, welcome to the thoughtful arrangements at my accommodation, where every detail reflected care and respect for international guests. The organizing committee ensured that I felt comfortable and supported. Their graciousness made it easy to focus on the heart of the visit\u2014connecting with a community of passionate scholars and professionals. This reception not only eased the nervousness of being in a new country but also reaffirmed the value of cross-cultural academic exchange.<\/p>\n As I returned home, I carried with me the fulfillment of a successful keynote presentation and the cherished memories of new friendships, cultural immersion, and personal growth. The warmth and generosity I experienced, and the intellectual richness of the conference, made this journey truly meaningful.
