INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SERVICE – BUSINESS MANAGEMENT BINUS ONLINE

Singapore, Jun 21st, 2025 – In an era where online learning often limits in-person interactions, a heartwarming moment unfolded in the heart of Singapore. A spontaneous yet meaningful Meet and Greet session was organized at Starbucks, Delfi Orchard, bringing together students, an alumna, and a faculty member from the Management Department of Binus Online, Bina Nusantara University.

What made this moment even more special was the presence of Dr. Lianna Wijaya, a representative from the Management Department, who happened to be on an academic trip to Singapore. Recognizing the rare opportunity to connect physically with students and graduates who usually only interact virtually, Dr. Lianna extended an open invitation for a casual gathering over coffee.

The event was modest in size but rich in meaning. One alumna (Amirotul Khoiro) and two active students (Sabrina Afifah Nurrahman and Mirani Dyah Claresti) of Management Department Binus Online joined the session, each of them meeting their lecturer in person for the very first time after months or even years of online classes. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, stories, and laughter as they shared experiences about studying online, balancing professional and academic life, and their personal journeys with Binus Online.

This small yet significant event highlighted the importance of human connection even in the most digital of learning environments. It reaffirmed the strong community spirit Binus Online strives to foster—no matter the distance. The meet-up ended with smiles and a commemorative photo, leaving everyone with fond memories and stronger ties to their academic family.
